To be truthful, I have been arond this site for a while now. I had used some Stardock products in the past, I think I had only purchased one prior to GalCiv. GalCiv got me excited for a game. The idea of the Stardock for comerical distrubition is also something I am fond of. I ended up getting the whole shebang (Dregin.net) shortly there afterwards.
